The human eye is naturally attracted to certain parts of an image when it sees it for the first time. The rule of thirds makes is one of the key compositional rules in photography, and a good Dallas wedding photographers use this rule to make their photos more striking.
The Rule of Thirds
When taking a photo, imagine that there is a grid in your viewfinder, with two lines running vertically, and two running horizontally. The four intersections are the places where the eye will look first, while the lines are also very strong focal points.
Using the Rule of Thirds
As you’re composing your image, simply place your subject on one of the focal points that you get when you draw the imaginary lines on your image. many cameras with autofocus have autofocus points that correspond with the lines and focal points of the imaginary grid.
